Saskia Worf ist 1994 in Mainz geboren. Ihren ersten Flöten- und Klavierunterricht erhielt sie mit 4 Jahren. Von 2008 bis 2015 wurde Saskia am Peter-Cornelius-Konservatorium in Mainz unterrich-tet. Sie absolvierte dort eine Studienvorbereitende Ausbildung bis sie dann dort das Studium der Instrumentalpädagogik im Fach Querflöte 2015 mit Auszeichnung abschloss.
Seit dem Wintersemester 2015/2016 studiert Saskia an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, Standort Wuppertal in der Flötenklasse bei Prof. Dirk Peppel. Bei dem Wettbewerb „Jugend musi-ziert“ war Saskia mehrfach Preisträgerin und besuchte Meisterkurse u.a. bei Prof. Birgit-Ramsl (Wien), Prof. Dirk Peppel und Carin Levine.
2012 nahm sie an dem Projekt „Liebhaberorchester“ der Berliner Philharmoniker teil und spielte unter der Leitung von Sir Simon Rattle in der Berliner Philharmonie. Im Juni 2016 spielte sie Aus-hilfe als 2.Flöte, bei einem Familienkonzert, im Sinfonieorchester Aachen und trat im Programm auch als Solistin auf mit „Zoom Tube“ von Ian Clark. Mit dem Mainzer Kammerorchester konzer-tierte sie gemeinsam mit Renate Kehr.
Neben dem Studium der klassischen Musik, widmet sich Saskia auch der Jazz- und Popularmusik u.a. in der Brassband „Bourbon Street Orchestra“ aus Mainz für die sie auch arrangiert.
2017 ist Saskia Stipendiatin des Richard-Wagner-Verbandes Solingen/Bergisches Land.

Saskia Worf was born in Mainz in the year of 1994. She received her first flute and piano lessons at the age of 4. Saskia was student at the Peter-Cornelius-Conservatory from 2008 until 2015. She successfully completed within that time her pre-college education as well as her degree in Instrumental Pedagogy within her flute major in the year of 2015 with memorable mention.
Saskia has been studying since the winter semester of 2015/2016 at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, Standort Wuppertal, with Prof. Dirk Peppel. She received several prizes in the german youth instrumental competition “Jugend Musiziert” and visited a num-ber of masterclasses Prof. Birgit-Ramsl (Wien), Prof. Dirk Peppel and Carin Levine i.e.
Saskia took 2012 part in the project “Liebhaberorchester”, which is sponsored from the Berlin Philharmonic, where she played under Sir Simon Rattle. In June 2016, Saskia played for one family concert temporarily 2. flute with the Orchestra from Aachen. She also performed as a soloist within the concert the piece “Zoom Tube” from the contemporary composer Ian Clarke. She plays regularly with the chamber orchestra in Mainz together with flutist Renate Kehr.
Saskia devotes herself in addition to her classical education also different music genres such as Jazz and Popmusic. She plays with the Brassband “Bourbon Street Orchestra” from Mainz for which she also writes arrangments adding to their repertoire.
In 2017 Saskia will become a Scholar in the Richard-Wagner-Verbandes So-lingen/Bergisches Land.
