Seven Days – 91 Evaluation Performances
Your colleague Dirk Peppel is serving on the jury for piano and a woodwind instrument. The experienced juror is very pleased that these evaluation performances are taking place at “his” university on Sedanstraße. “It’s great to have the concerts in our own building. Many young musicians can get to know our university and see that it’s a wonderful place to study,” says the board member of HfMT. In seven days, this jury has to evaluate 91 concerts across three age groups. “It’s incredibly exhausting, but in every round of evaluations, there are breathtakingly amazing performances. It’s unbelievable,” says the professor of flute. There is a great variety and creativity on display, and one experiences exciting, moving performances. Peppel has been a juror for the Federal Competition and the “China Youth Music Competition (CYMC)” in Beijing for several years. As a host at HfMT, he showed his fellow jurors the most beautiful sides of Wuppertal “after hours.”

To standardize the professionalization path of stage management and further promote the healthy and sustainable development of China’s performing arts industry, the “9th International Theatre Troupe Management Masterclass,” organized by the Collaborative Innovation Center of Theatre Management and Cultural Industries at the Central Academy of Drama and the China Drama Association, and co-organized by the China Association of Performing Arts, will be held from October 18-19, 2024, at the Dongcheng Campus of the Central Academy of Drama.
This year’s masterclass will focus on the theme of “Innovative Development in China’s Stage Management.” Experts from Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center, the PLA Air Force Art Troupe, the Cologne University of Music and Dance (Germany), Beijing Mahua FunAge Entertainment Co., Ltd., Beijing Poly Theatre Management Co., Ltd., the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (UK), the National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Central Academy of Drama, and the Shaanxi Grand Theatre have been invited to deliver keynote speeches. These experts will share perspectives from both domestic and international viewpoints, focusing on the development trends, innovative paths, and challenges facing the stage management industry and professional talent cultivation.
为规范舞台管理的专业化路径，进一步促进中国演出行业的良性可持续发展，由中央戏剧学院中国戏剧文化管理协同创新中心和中国话剧协会主办，中国演出行业协会联合主办的“第九届国际剧院团管理大师班”将于2024 年 10 月 18 日-19 日在中央戏剧学院东城校区举办。
本届大师班将以“中国舞台管理的创新发展”为主题，邀请来自北京天桥艺术中心、空政文工团、德国科隆音乐与舞蹈学院、北京开心麻花娱乐文化传媒股份有限公司、北京保利剧院管理有限公司、英国盖德霍尔音乐戏剧学院、国家大剧院、中央戏剧学院、陕西大剧院的专家发表主题演讲，分享国内外双重视野，聚焦舞台管理行业和专业人才培养领域的发展动态、创新路径及面临的挑战。

Gedern (mü). Mit stehendem Beifall hat das Publikum im Wappensaal des Gederner Schlosses das Konzert des Trios 150 während der Gederner Kulturtage gefeiert. Der Gederner Chorleiter Volker Bilz hatte den Kontakt zu dem Trio hergestellt, dem mit seinem Sohn, dem Oboisten Manuel Bilz, der Solo-Oboist im Sinfonieorchester des Westdeutschen Rundfunks ist, und dem Querflötisten Dirk Peppel zwei exzellente Musiker mit Gederner Wurzeln angehören.
Bilz stammt aus Steinberg, Peppels familiäre Wurzeln liegen in Ober-Seemen. Er konnte zudem seine Eltern im Publikum begrüßen: Sein Vater Ernst Peppel war jahrzehntelang Pianist der Gederner Jazzfreunde.
Dritte im Bunde war die Pianistin Eri Uchino, Korrepetitorin an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Wuppertal und somit Kollegin und Unterstützerin von Dirk Peppel als Dozent. Geplant hatte man den Auftritt ab Dezember 2023 und sich zudem den Namen Trio 150 zugelegt – eine dynamische Bezeichnung, denn die Zahl ergibt sich aus der Addition der Lebensjahre 40, 50 und 60 des Trios und wird mit jedem Geburtstag eines Mitglieds steigen.
